1974
  First Ship supplied with water, food and fuel oil in Jeddah.
1976
  First oil tanker, "Al Bakri", 20,000 DWT goes into operations.
1978
  Ras Tanura and Dammam operations commenced.
1979
  Sales reach 1 million metric tons.
1982
  First VLCC, "Red Sea Pioneer", 260,000 DWT goes into operations.
1983
  Inaugurated Fujairah, UAE operations.
1984
  First product carrier, "Yasmeen", 36,000 DWT goes into operations.
1985
  Marketing offices in UK.
1987
  Operations begin in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
1988
  Storage facilities in the Arabian Gulf.
1989
  First chemical carrier, "Bakri Navigator", 10,000 DWT goes into operations.
1993
  Sales reach 2 million metric tons.
1995
  Storage facilities in the Indian Subcontinent.
1996
  Storage facilities in the Gulf of Oman.
1997
  Storage facilities in the Far East, Ship Repair operations at Jeddah Islamic Port Stevedoring operations at Jubail Port Sales reach 8 million metric tons.
1998
  Operations begin in Muscat, Oman (JV).

  Joint Business Investment - Bakri Energy Marketing System, Kuwait.
